Today, registration opens for BlueFish Expo 2027, which will be held at Sparebanken Møre Arena in Ålesund 7–9 September 2027. For the seventh time, the fair brings together stakeholders in the fisheries and seafood industry for three days of exhibition, conference and networking opportunities in what is often referred to as the fisheries capital of Ålesund.

In recent years, BlueFish Expo has strengthened its position as one of the industry's most important meeting places. The 2025 event brought together around 7,000 visitors, and the fair has been of great importance both to the industry and to the region around Ålesund. 

– BlueFish Expo is a focused and effective arena where exhibitors, shipowners, suppliers and decision-makers meet. Contracts are signed here, relationships are built and new knowledge is shared, says the organizer behind the fair.

The fair combines exhibition and conference, and gives participants access to both commercial meeting places and professional input. In Sparebanken Møre Arena, suppliers of goods and services to the fishing fleet gather, along with shipowners, buyers and other key players in the value chain. 

As part of the continued development of the event, BlueFish Expo has established several subprojects that are intended to be relevant to the industry. One of these is Young in the fishing industry, presented by Sparebanken Møre, with the aim of highlighting recruitment, expertise and the jobs of the future in the fisheries and seafood industry.

BlueFish Expo is held in Ålesund, a region with long traditions in fishing and maritime industries, and a business community that has been world-leading in innovations for the industry. 

As there is strong interest, we are starting early and registration for BlueFish Expo 2027 is now open.
